National Day Parade [09/08]

I am attending the National Day Parade Live for the first time today. It is held at The Float @ Marina Bay. This is supposed to be a temporary stadium from 2007 for 5 years. There are 35,000 among the audience today. I am sitting at the dark blue section, which is to the extreme right hand side of the gallery. From this section, I can have a good view of all the audience till the Singapore Flyer at the other end.

At around 6pm, the special guests (members of parliament) start coming in. It climax with the arrive of our ex-prime ministers Lee Kuan Yew and Goh Chok Tong. The crowd went wild and cheer loudly when the 2 great leaders arrived. We have the parade colors and contingent all getting ready for the guard of honour inspection.
